Maxine Pittman is the Founder and CEO of Tress Obsessed Beauty Vending. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Maxine is used to the hustle and bustle of hard work, grind, determination, and success. She has amassed over 11 years of customer service, marketing, public relations, and sales experience throughout many different industries. Tress Obsessed began as an online beauty supply store.

Maxine had plans to expand to a 24-hour storefront at the end of 2021. After the pandemic shifted the economy, Maxine decided to pivot her company to become recession-proof. She took a risk, successfully switching gears, and was able to adapt to the current trends of the economy. Maxine transformed her beauty business into an innovative beauty vending machine company. 

Through Maxine’s passion for travel and beauty, she’s experienced firsthand how women of color are overlooked and underrepresented in the beauty and travel industries. Maxine provided a space for all women to receive travel-sized hair products during their stays at hotels, resorts, at the gym, college dorms, and so much more. The establishment of Tress Obsessed Beauty Vending has changed the world of beauty and traveling forever.
